$20 AYCD Brunch in Union Square – SideBAR

Ahhhh, brunch in NYC. It just never seems to get old. You know what makes us happier than a meal that’s less than $11 and unlimited Bud Lights, Bloody Marys, and mimosas for only $20 more? Nothing. SideBAR – a full-service sports lounge and restaurant, and probably one of the best spots to watch a main event in Union Square, is now doing brunch on the weekends… and it’s glorious.

Food:
Although the menu may be limited, each item offered packs a punch of deliciousness. And as mentioned, nothing is more than $11. Cha-ching, in your pocket. If you’re looking for something to soak up the alcohol from the previous night, we recommended going with the sliders. Two perfectly grilled, all beef patties, topped off with cheese and accompanied by perfectly-browned French fries. If you lack the “morning person” gene, breakfast might be more up your alley – go with the eggs benedict. A creamy hollandaise gets us every time.

For those of you watching your girlish figure (you know who you are, guys), they have a buffalo chicken wrap made with grilled chicken. Supplement the fries for salad and you’ll mentally clear yourself for another 5 mimosas.

Festivities:
Although we always touch on the food aspect of each joint first, you’re here for the booze. UNLIMITED BOOZE. The wait staff is exceptional – you tell them to keep the drinks coming and they make sure that’s exactly what happens. A Bloody Mary to kick things off, a few mimosas to follow, and a plethora of Bud Lights should finish you off just right in the allotted time for the all-you-can-drink aspect of brunch.

If you find yourself in the area at a time other than the weekend during the day, be sure to take advantage of a few other specials they’re serving up:

What the #$&% is better than that?
